Until I Deborah arose, a Mother...
Life in the villages ceased, until I, Deborah, arose, a mother in Israel.
Why the Deborah Project?
Everyday I see the tears of women who have to brace themselves to show up in the world, amidst trauma & pain; I hear the outbursts of teenage girls who feel inadequate; the silent cries of orphans who have to fend for themselves in a society still indifferent to the unique needs of women.
Deborah (Judges 4,5) demonstrated the kind of strength and courage that I know resides in every woman, in every daughter of Eve. The Deborah Project hopes to draw such a woman out of all women who participate so that together we can strengthen and rebuild villages all around the world!
